Today we finalized and booked our flight plans. YAY!!! We will leave the New Orleans airport at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, August 9 and arrive in Kiev on Tuesday at 1:15 p.m. their time. Our time it will be 5:15 a.m.
Please continue to pray for us and Ivanna's biological family as we go through this transition. We have had more support and prayers than we could have ever imagined. Thank you very much to all of you, Andy and I have many conversations about this on a daily basis.

The blog looks amazing! Lyndi and I were just talking to Nadya about you yesterday. We wondered if she ever has a hard time translating for someone with an accent! It might be good to know that she has no idea what y'all means :). She looked at us like we had 5 heads but we explained it to her!
ReplyDeleteOh Erin that is funny - when I e-mail Ivanna's mom and dad it is so hard for me to catch myself with the "slang". I just absolutely can not wait to meet them and more importantly can't wait to get to Ivanna. I'm just so afraid that she will have separations anxities from Anna and Yuri but we will have to deal with that one thing at a time. You guys have taught us so much there is no doubt that God has done the right thing with our lives.
