Here are the pictures from today's visit. Incredible journey so far and we have so much to be thankful for. This precious child will forever know love from two mommy and daddy's. We are very thankful for the many blessings that God has given to us and for a precious girl to be added to our family.
On Monday we will have an appointment to obtain our court date. It appears our Interpol Clearances are back since there was such a long time between submission and our travel date which is wonderful. Today we were asked to provide her official new name which will be Ivanna Patricia-Nan Stratton. Ivanna will be named after Andy's mother who passed away in October of 2004.
Ivanna will always know where she came from and how she got to America. The answer? Because of the love of her biological Mama and PaPa.

Her life would make a great book. Ivanna Nan is a beautiful name. Was Ivanna her birth name as well as her RR name?
ReplyDeleteYes actually it's Ivanna Patricia-Nan. Ivanna was her given name and her RR name. So we did want to keep her given name for two reasons, she was older and her biological parents are involved and I'm sure it would mean a lot to them.
